When you create an event, you can add a description on your Landing page for guests to read when they register for your event.
Besides a description of your event, you can use this space in many other ways to achieve different goals as well!
Here are some examples:
1. Add a data privacy disclaimer
Remo does not send any marketing, nor sales communications to event guests, but as an Event Host, you may want to do that. So, you can add a data privacy disclaimer in your Event Description. Here's a handy GDPR example:
2. Add a survey
If you want to collect additional data from your guests prior to the event, you can add a link to a survey to the Event Description.
3. Share important documents, links to resources and communities
If you have important things to share with your guests prior to the event, you can also consider including links to these in your Event Description.
The description allows enriched text (Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3, links, e.t.c.). However, pictures, videos, and files cannot be embedded/ uploaded
4. Share support contact information
Since the 'Need Help' button in the lower-left corner links guests to Remo's Chat Support, you can consider including your contact information for guests to reach out to if they have questions about your event.
This event is organized by [Host company name].
Contact [Support email] if you have any questions about the event.
Hopefully, this article has given you a couple more ideas of how you can make the most out of your Event Description! ✨
